Sultan Idris Shah Polytechnic, sweet & sour memories

This is Sultan Idris Shah Polytechnic, Sabak Bernam. This polytechnic is about 25 km from town of Sabak Bernam. After about a year here (not include industrial training), I think this polytechnic quite not bad. This poly have suitable environment for student to study in silent condition. Furthermore, the scenery here quite fascinating because it have the lake and near the sea.

But, the expenses to rent a house near polytechnic are quite expensive. My friends and I  have to pay about RM650 a month to rent a house with 2 bedrooms only. If we don't have any loan such as PTPTN, it's will be difficult if we choose to rent outside the polytechnic.

Industrial Training (November 2010 - April 2011)

For all polytechnic students, we must attend the industrial training during semester 3 (for Diploma in Secretarial Science and Certificate) and Semester 4 (diploma). Last semester, I successfully completed my industrial training for about 5 months. I choose to doing my industrial training at Majlis Perbandaran Manjung, Perak. I were placed at  Management Services Department under training and competencies units.

First day in MPM, I really don't know what should I do. I just sit at my place and do nothing. After a week there, I start to being very busy. My job is to help in manage any course and training for staffs. There, I learn many new things such as manage a course and training from the beginning, make an official letters and many more. All boss and staff in MPM always help me when I needed.

During practical, 'Harian Metro' with the collaboration with the MPM held the family day for 20th anniversary of 'Harian Metro'. In that program, I grouped together with Shaheizy Sam, Intan Ladyana and Mohd Mentor with others MPM staff to join the red team. Many program were organized such as 'tarik tali, lari dalam guni' and many others interesting program. Our team managed to get second place lost to green team lead by Azza Elite and Daus Af. Other artists that join this program is Kamal Adli, Ifa Raziah, Liyana Samsudin and many more.

Industrial Training give a lot of memory to me. Many useful lesson and experience can lead me when I work in the future.

Happy friends make me smile :)

My life were full with joy, happiness and sadness. For me, the person that give so much colourful in my life is my family, friends and everyone around me. I really appreciate everyone in my life. I'm very lucky because my friends are always in my side when I need them. My best friends when I in primary school is Nadia, Soleha, Mira, Sarah, Akma, Intan, Nabila, Farah and many more. Although now we have our own life, we still remember each others and contact via fb.

During secondary school, my life become more lively. While in form 5, I became chairman of the librarians. Then, when teacher ask me to find the new librarian, I recommended all my best friends who are not a prefect to become a librarians. Then when we hang out together during breaks, we will look like a group of librarian. I really miss all my good friends such as, Faizura, Afiqah, Diana, Mira and all my friends during secondary school.

Now, I make new friends in Politeknik Sultan Idris Shah. Here, I have many friends in different family background and personality. All my friends are students from same and different course. When in semester one, my best friends are my roommates, Nurul and Afin. At the same time, I meet 'Perak Crew', the most good friends ever. Athira, Fahana and Miza all are from Perak. That's why we called ourself as Perak Crew.
During semester  4, I rent with 'Perak Crew' and others 2 from hotel and catering course, Ogy and Zati.

My family, my story

I want to share a little bit about me and my family. my real name is Nurshareyfateen binti Shohaimi. I'm from Pantai Remis Perak. Now, I'm study at Politeknik Sultan Idris Shah in Diploma Secretarial Science. I'm second and have 4 brothers and a sister. My eldest brothers were studied at Ibaraki, Japan. my third brothers will study at UNIMAS, Sarawak. My younger sister were study at Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan Dato' Idris. my twin younger brother were in standard 6 at Sekolah Kebangsaan Sungai Batu. My beloved parents, Shohaimi bin Omar and Norsiah binti Shuib is a technician and a fully housewife.

something happen to my twin little brother. He have mysterious disease that make he cannot walk. it happen when he have high fever about February this year. from that on, he cannot go to school. when he want go to school, he fill really headache, stomach ache and now, he cannot walk anymore. the doctor don't know what really happen to him.

Last Thursday, my dad was admitted due to stroke. thankfully, his disease is not really bad. I hope that my dad and little brother will heal quickly.
